What does happiness mean to you? It is June 3, 2020. At this moment - happiness for me is staying away from all the madness that is currently filling up the news. I need to breathe. We are in a double pandemic. There is COVID-19 and then there is the senseless killing of black people. The protest continues. Listening to music has always been therapeutic for me. Remembering a time when I had head trauma - music really helped me to get back into the swing of things. I play music to fall asleep, when driving in my car, while working, play music while listening to music, while cooking and the list goes on. I am absolutely happy when I am listening to music. What makes you happy? #happiness #weshouldbefreetobe #ourlivesmatter #absolutely

Do you know what else makes me happy? Yes, mom's chicken soup. My kids have a good laugh at me all the time. They think that Caribbean parents cure for every illness are tea and soup. They are like, "Drink some tea or some soup and you will be okay." They mock me all the time. Today, I am a bit under the weather, so chicken soup would be absolutely perfect for this moment. Check out this video by The Jamaican Mother and see how you can make your own. #chickensoup.
