Hanging out with my family at Negril Village Restaurant, NYC. Eating together is one of our favorite things to do.
My family does not eat out regularly but we do enjoy eating at Negril Village Restaurant in NY city. This restaurant is great for anyone looking for that well seasoned food. If you are looking for that real island flavor - go to Negril Restaurant. I especially like their guava colada and guava wings which is cooked with that special barbecue glaze. They also delivered great service the many times we've been there. Why not give them a try? I am not sure of their hours now due to COVID-19 regulations. #restaurants
Laughter
“Laughter is good medicine.”
Laughter is good medicine. After being in lock-down for over two months we have to come up with creative ways not to go insane. Here my kids are using kickboxing as an outlet to maintain their sanity. #kickboxing #staysane
Vacation
I think it is time for #vacation #dream #summer. Am I the only one thinking about this? We look forward to summer vacation every year. Last year we went to Jamaica and our last stop was at the Bahia Principe, Ocho Rios. We totally enjoyed it. There was so much food. That spa treatment was certainly what the doctor ordered.
Get Inspired
Try something new today. I think this pandemic has given us the opportunity to be creative in so many ways. Many no longer have to go in to work, myself included. We now realize that we can stay in the comfort of our homes to do school, church, and work. We now have birthdays, graduations, funerals and weddings online. My daughter was inspired to try something new. She made latkes and it taste really good! This is a Jewish delicacy made from shredded irish potato.
Thank you Denise! You are so correct about what blacks have been facing. I am really looking forward to some sort of normalcy soon. If that does not occur we continue to do our best to keep sane and healthy. We just got to stay prayed up.
Hello there family Audrae. Beautiful pics and so proud of you and your blog. Yes agree, we all need an outlet of some sort, walking, biking, spending time with family, hopefully soon vacationing or just enjoying your own company. However, it is exceptionally hard though during these unprecedented times, and shamefully sad that because of my skin color, my children skin color and some of my family skin color, that we have to be extra careful where we go, and what time we go, on top of Covid-19! Ugh... So praying for God’s healing and mercy!! Blessings!
